Building Food Security One Grain Terminal at a Time: CESCO’s African Journey

While many companies talk about “going global,” we at CESCO EPC have been working in Africa’s grain infrastructure, one turnkey project at a time.

Our secret? Combining decades of German engineering excellence with something that can’t be taught in textbooks: genuine local insight.

Take our work in Egypt, where we’ve delivered a conveying system for a port grain terminal in Alexandria with 100,000-ton capacity.

But here’s what sets us apart: we don’t just build and leave. Our team handles everything from detailed engineering and steel fabrication to commissioning and comprehensive operator training.

Currently, we’re making waves in Cameroon with an ambitious turnkey project in Douala. We are not just installing a metal building serving a milling plant, complete with process bins for wheat, flour, and bran, including metal storage silos. It is a full-scale facility designed for a milling plant, capable of processing both durum and soft wheat, engineered specifically to meet local market demands, and built for long-term resilience.

What makes us a trusted partner across Africa?

Our approach is refreshingly straightforward: in-house engineering and structural design, efficient execution across all project phases, and a lean structure that enables quick decision-making and high adaptability. But perhaps most importantly, we prioritize training and knowledge transfer to local teams, because sustainable infrastructure requires sustainable expertise.

Whether it’s grain terminals, milling plants, or complete turnkey plants, our “Smart Concept, Easy Operation” philosophy ensures that European quality meets regional needs without compromise.

In a continent where food security and operational efficiency can make or break communities, we’re not just building infrastructure, we’re building futures.
