200.000 Tonnes and Counting: CESCO’s H1 2026 Project Delivery

Six months. One question behind every project: does the engineering hold up on site, not just on paper.

From January to July 2026, that question shaped every plant we showcased, and one project answered it at national scale.

At the Port of Jazan, Saudi Arabia, CESCO EPC engineered a 200.000-tonne storage facility for UFC United Feed Company.

Cylindrical flat-bottom steel silos for wheat and barley. A 20.000 t flat warehouse for soya meal. Two 400 t/h intake lines running simultaneously. Four truck intake pits with integrated dust aspiration.

Saudi Arabia imports more than 80% of its grain needs. This is a logistics hub engineered to absorb the full complexity of a high-throughput port terminal from day one. It became one of our most-viewed updates of the year.

Closer to home, our Italian project portfolio told the same story at a different scale.

At Molino Chiavazza in Cuneo: a silo storage section for 25.000 t of storage and 400 t/h of conveying, commissioned in 2024.

At La Sanfermese in Mantova: a new 24.000 t grain receiving, drying, storage and dispatch terminal, a fresh contract win this year, commissioning scheduled for 2026.

At Molino Valente in Alessandria: a cereal homogenisation and dosing plant, 16.000 t, 200 t/h, commissioned this year.

The structural calculations always come first. Every plant is validated in 3D FE software and checked against Eurocode requirements before a single beam is manufactured, the stage most clients never see, and the one that determines whether a facility performs for five years or thirty.

Whether the destination is a port terminal in Jazan or a mill in northern Italy, the standard does not change: in-house engineering, manufacturing in Reggio Emilia, and single-point EPC responsibility from conceptual design to commissioning.
