Construction has officially started on a new grain homogenization, storage, and dosing facility for Molino Valente S.p.A. in Felizzano, Italy.
We are pleased to announce the start of construction of a new grain homogenization and dosing facility for Molino Valente S.p.A. in Felizzano, Italy.
As EPC contractor, CESCO EPC is delivering a fully integrated expansion of the existing milling plant, designed to improve grain lot segregation, quality control and blend preparation before milling.
The project includes:
✔️ Eight HBS 12,20/16/45 hopper bottom silos with continuous temperature monitoring.
✔️ Integration with the existing rail grain intake system.
✔️ New grain handling equipment including a bucket elevator, chain conveyors and a closed belt conveyor.
✔️ Steel structures, walkways and access platforms engineered in house according to Eurocode standards.
✔️ A flood resilient storage design specifically developed for the environmental conditions of the site.
Each silo has been designed to store the equivalent of one complete train shipment, allowing individual grain lots to remain fully segregated before homogenization. This provides greater operational flexibility while supporting more consistent milling performance.
The project is being executed within a fully operational milling facility on a confined site adjacent to the railway, requiring careful planning and seamless integration with existing operations.
We thank Molini Valente for their trust and are proud to contribute to another project that combines engineering, operational efficiency and grain quality.
