CESCO’s Projects Across Northern Italy Cuneo. Mantova. Alessandria. Vicenza.

These are not distant markets or emerging project destinations. They are sites where CESCO has recently delivered grain storage and milling infrastructure for Italian operators, clients who are technically experienced, operationally demanding, and entirely unsentimental about engineering quality.

Italy’s milling sector is among the most sophisticated in Europe. The facilities are complex. The intake configurations combine road, rail, and sometimes waterway logistics. The processing requirements are specific to grain types that vary by client and by season. And the operational environments leave little tolerance for commissioning delays or post-installation corrections.

These are the conditions in which the work shown in our Italian project portfolio was completed.

At Molino Chiavazza in Cuneo, we designed and installed a silo storage section for a mill plant: mixed train and truck intake, 25,000 tonnes of storage, 400 t/h conveying capacity, commissioned in 2024. At La Sanfermese in Mantova, a fully integrated grain receiving, drying, storage, and rehandling plant currently completing at 26,000 tonnes and 250 t/h. At Molino Valente in Alessandria, a cereal homogenisation and dosing plant with hopper silos, 16,000 tonnes, 200 t/h, commissioned in 2026.

The manufacturing base in Reggio Emilia creates a specific operational advantage: reduced logistics lead times, direct access for technical coordination during the construction phase, and the ability to manage engineering adjustments without the delays that international shipments impose.

Italian projects are not a separate category in CESCO’s portfolio. They are delivered to the same standard: Eurocode-compliant structural design, in-house manufacturing, single-point EPC responsibility, applied to every plant we build, from Serbia to Saudi Arabia.
