Engineering and manufacturing: fully integrated. What the creation of CESCO EPC Srl means for our clients.
A few weeks ago, CESCO EPC] announced the creation of CESCO EPC Srl: a new Italian entity resulting from the integration of CESCO EPC Italia and TECHNOBINS.
For those following the news: here is what it means in practice.
CESCO EPC GmbH, headquartered in Konstanz, Germany, has always managed EPC projects end-to-end, from conceptual engineering through to commissioning. The engineering and project management capabilities were there. What the integration adds is a unified manufacturing and specialized engineering base in Italy, operating under a single legal and operational structure.
CESCO EPC Srl brings together:
☑️ In-house design and manufacturing of process silos, storage systems, and steel structures for grain and milling plants
☑️ TECHNOBINS’ specialized know-how, now fully embedded in the CESCO delivery model
☑️ A fully automated production facility in northern Italy, aligned with the project management standards of the German headquarters
The benefit for clients is direct.
Complex EPC projects: grain terminals, steel structures for milling plants, integrated storage facilities; require engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to move in coordination. When those functions are fragmented across separate companies, decisions slow down, responsibility gets distributed, and projects absorb the cost.
With CESCO EPC Srl, that coordination happens within a single structure. Engineering decisions translate immediately into manufacturing inputs. Technical requirements set in Konstanz are executed by a production facility that is part of the same organization, not a subcontractor managing its own schedule.
For clients building infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond, this matters. Not as a corporate announcement, but as a change in how their projects are managed and delivered.
If you are planning a grain terminal project and want to understand what a fully integrated EPC structure means for your delivery schedule and technical outcomes, we are available to discuss.
