New 24.000 t Grain Terminal Project in Mantova
CESCO EPC has been awarded a new contract for the execution of a fully integrated grain receiving, drying, storage, and dispatch terminal for our long-standing partner La Sanfermese in Mantova, Italy.
This project represents another important milestone in a collaboration built over many years. It reflects the continued trust placed in our engineering standards and execution capability.
The new facility will add approximately 24.000 tonnes of installed storage capacity and is designed to operate as a complete high-performance logistics hub. Receiving, cleaning, drying, storage, and truck loading are engineered to operate simultaneously without process bottlenecks.
Key parameters of the project:
✔️ 24.000 tonnes total installed storage capacity
✔️ Continuous handling capacity up to 250 t/h
✔️ Flat-bottom silos for long-term storage
✔️ Hopper bottom silos for wet buffering and tempering
✔️ Dedicated rapid truck loading silos
✔️ Continuous flow column dryer with heat recovery
✔️ Centralized Siemens-based automation architecture
The plant integrates CC340 and CC420 chain conveyors with BBE130, BBE330, and BBE370 bucket elevators to ensure controlled grain movement and optimized energy efficiency. Advanced dust aspiration, thermometric monitoring, and aeration systems safeguard both product quality and environmental compliance.
From structural calculations to mechanical supply and installation, CESCO EPC delivers the project as a complete turnkey solution. Commissioning is scheduled for 2026, embodying our principle: Smart Concept, Easy Operation.
